BASILDON-BASED Gymnast Max Whitlock has become the face of Royal Mail’s Post Early for Christmas Campaign.
The Olympic, World and Commonwealth Games medal winning gymnast is urging people to help the postal service spread the workload during its busiest time of the year.
Max said: “As an athlete I understand the enormous effort it takes to get somewhere first.
“So please help Royal Mail at its busiest time by sending your Christmas cards and gifts early.
“Christmas is fast approaching so I will ensure my Christmas greetings to family and friends are in the post early so everyone can enjoy them come Christmas Day."
Royal Mail’s latest recommended posting dates for UK Christmas delivery are: First class by December 20, second class by December 18 and Special Delivery Guaranteed by December 23.
