Police are appealing for information about a burglary in Stanford-le-Hope where property worth over £35, 000 was stolen.
Eight high value bicycles, electrical items and jewellery of sentimental value to the victim were stolen by theives during the raid.
The house, on Wharf Road, was broken into between 9am, Friday, November 14 and 5pm on Monday, November 17.
Eight road race and mountain bicycles were stolen, including a specialized Stumpjumper FSR Elite with Hope Hoop Pro Evo 2 wheelset fitted, a Scott Pro 29er with Mavic Crossmax wheelset fitted and a Scott Foil 20 with Mavic Cosmic wheelset fitted.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Pc Nicola Hadfield at Grays CID on 101.
