TWO motorists chased each other round the streets of Pitsea following a road rage spat.
The shocking incident kicked off about 2.30pm on Tuesday, just minutes before children left school for the day.
Police are interviewing 25-year-old men in connection with the incident and are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
The incident kicked off in Kenneth Road after a row between the driver of a silver Ford Escort and a grey Audi A6.
Following the row it is understood that one of the drivers spun his car round and chased the other driver, tearing through Ashlyns, Pitsea Road, Wickford Avenue and Rectory Road.
The cars then began overtaking each other, and other road users.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or with any information should contact Pc Marek Jaworski at Pitsea Police Station on 101.
