A MAN has been ordered to pay £1,000 compensation and muzzle his dogs after they attacked a neighbour.
Ryan Day, 20, of Highfield Gardens, Grays, admitted being in charge of two dangerously out of control bullmastiff dogs named Sergeant and Bonnie.
On August 11, the animals escaped from his property and burst in to his neighbour’s garden where they attacked Donna Doran.
Day was ordered to keep the animals on a short lead or muzzle in public, attend a dog training course, insure the animals and ensure he builds a 6ft fence around his property.
He was also ordered to do 60 hours’ unpaid work and pay £60 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
