THE Voice star, Brooklyn Lammiman, took to the stage in front of hundreds of screaming children as part of a huge celebration.
St Margaret's Primary School, in London Road, Bowers Gifford, organised a special performance from the 19 year-old, a mass balloon release and face painting to mark its “good” Ofsted result.
It is the first time the school, which has 214 pupils on its roll, has received a good rating in the past decade.
Brooklyn, from Basildon, was more than happy to entertain the crowds as her little sister Mylie, seven, is a pupil at St Margaret's.
Brooklyn said: “It was so lovely. Everyone was so grateful to have me there and the kids were so excited. I’ve started getting invited to quite a lot of events, but this was really special because it was at my little sister’s school, and they were celebrating something really special to them.”
Brooklyn is set to return to our screens on Saturday as part of the battle rounds.
