A man has suffered a suspected broken leg after a crash involving a car and a motorbike in Thundersley.
Ambulance crews were called to Kiln Road, near Castle Point Council's offices, at 11.45am today.
The Essex Air Ambulance landed nearby to take a patient to hospital.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We sent an officer, a rapid response car, an ambulance and the air ambulance.
“There was one patient, a man in his thirties, who had a suspected broken leg and chest injuries.
“He has been flown to the Royal London Hospital, but he was conscious and alert and his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.”
