PASSENGERS flying from Southend Airport will notice something different about Easyjet’s planes.
Still distinctly orange, Easjet is painting some of its aircraft in a new trial colour scheme.
The design was voted as the best out of three proposals by airline staff.
Three Airbus aircraft have now been painted in the new colours by Southend airportbased company Air Livery.
If the new colour scheme takes off and proves a hit with passengers, the whole fleet will be repainted at the rate of 25 planes a year.
