TURKEY: At least two people died and 16 were injured when a five-storey apartment building collapsed in Istanbul.
Rescuers pulled 16 survivors from the ruins, including a 12-year-old boy.
Reports said the building's foundations were weakened by an adjacent construction.
Istanbul Governor Muammer Guler said at least 27 people were living in the apartments.
Many of those injured were trapped on stairs as they tried to escape as the building collapsed.
