FANS of Americana enjoyed a Saturday night with a twist at a drive-in cimema and classic car event.
Revellers parked up at Cromwall Manor, in Pitsea Hall Lane, Pitsea, to make the most of a nostalgic night of music, movies and motors.
Classic George Lucas film American Graffiti was shown on a big screen, and bands and a DJ entertained the crowd.
Organiser Tim Bussell, who puts on classic car events in aid of the Harbour Club dementia day care centre, in Battlesbridge, reserved the first few rows for the most impressive vintage vehicles.
Fresh popcorn, American hot dogs, doughnuts, coffee and alcohol also helped guests get into the swing of the special event, which was against the backdrop of a 15th century manor house.
