A man has been arrested on suspicion of killing a pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash in south London.
Police were called to Tooting Bec Road at the junction of Dr Johnson Avenue in Streatham at 3.10am on May 2.
A 33-year-old man had been hit by a car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car did not stop and police issued an appeal to trace the driver.
Detectives investigating the incident arrested a 29-year-old man yesterday (May 4) on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
He was taken to a south London police station and later bailed to return in early July.
