A PAPER girl from Laindon is getting ready to show off her dance moves on live TV when she takes part in Britain’s Got Talent.

Rhian Bremmer of New Century Road, is part of dance crew Entity Allstars who will be appearing in Monday’s live semi-final on the ITV talent show.

The 15-year-old, who goes to the Billericay School, has found time to rehearse for the performance in between delivering copies of the Echo’s sister paper, the Basildon Recorder.

Rhian is one of a number of young south Essex dancers in the 20-strong street crew, which includes Lewis Platt, 13, from Billericay, Curtis Butler, 16, from Laindon, and Chloe Lynch, 13, from Basildon.

Rhian’smum Liz Bremmer, 47, said: “They all went for the audition last year. We saw Diversity do well and thought why not.

“I know some people think singers should stick to the X Factor and dancers to Got To Dance, but I think they’ve got something to entertain and do well on this show.”

The dance group have performed once in front of the judges, headed by Simon Cowell, and were sent straight through to the live semi-finals when judge Alesha Dixon pressed her golden buzzer.

Liz said: “It was great to get a yes from all the judges and to get the golden buzzer from Alesha was amazing.

“It’s taken away some of the stress as they’ve been able to just focus on the semi-finals. It was a big boost in confidence for them. I was very proud.”

As well as delivering papers, some of the dancers have been having to do their GCSEs around the rehearsals, which are top secret.

Liz said: “The school has been fantastic supporting them and letting them have time off school.

“I can’t say too much but they’ve been in rehearsals and it’s going to be out of this world.

“It’s going to show what they can do. It’s going to entertain and it’s a really good set. People won’t be disappointed.”

The group will go head-to-head with fellow south Essex dancers India Cooney, 12, from Wickford, and Alice Routledge, 14, from Basildon, part of street dance crew IMD Legion.

  • Entity Allstars will appear on in the first live semi-final on ITV 1 at 7.30pm on Monday night.
