SOUTHEND United have already sold more than 3,000 season cards for their forthcoming campaign in League One.

The figure is already higher than at the start of the previous campaign.

And Blues’ chief executive Steve Kavanagh is delighted by the increase in sales.

“We’re very pleased to have gone above the 3,000 mark but we’re still looking to build on that,” said Kavanagh.

“We normally see a few season card holders not renew due to circumstances in their lives but we’ve been able to retain a high number this summer on the back of our promotion from League Two.”

Season cards are still available to buy between now and early August. But current season card holders have until 4pm today to renew their existing seat.
