A 47-YEAR-OLD scooter rider from Leigh suffered a fractured shoulder in a crash in Southend and police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident.
The silver Piaggio scooter was in collision with a silver or blue car, which may have been a people carrier, at around 8.40am on Sunday, May 31, in Boscombe Road.
The car failed to stop, continuing along Boscombe Road, while the male scooter rider was taken to hospital.
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to call Pc Pete Pettet at Laindon road policing unit on 101.
