A TEENAGER has been jailed for nine years after forcing his way into a house carrying an imitation firearm.
Kenny Bulmer, 19, was found guilty of aggravated burglary and possession of an imitation firearm with intent following a trial at Basildon Crown Court.
He was one of three men who forced their way into a house in Wimbish End, Basildon, at around 9pm on Tuesday, January 20, armed with what appeared to be a gun.
A four-figure sum of cash and a stash of jewellery were taken.
Bulmer, of Martin Road, Aveley, was initially arrested two days after the incident, along with a 16-year-old boy who was released without charge.
The other two suspects remain outstanding.
