THIEVES smashed their way into a house and stole iPads, a money box and £100 in loose change.
Thieves got in through a conservatory window before smashing the patio doors open.
Once inside they carried out a search of the whole house before stealing computer equipment and other items.
Among the pieces taken were a silver 16GB wi-fi iPad mini in a Union Jack case, a white and green Asus notebook PC X102B in a black zip case, a red Acer laptop with charger, a six year old iPad Touch, and a metal gingerbread house moneybox containing around £80 to £100 in loose change.
Police are investigating the burglary in Takely Ride in Basildon which took place between 8am and 5pm on July 21.
Anyone who is offered any of these items for sale or who has any information which could help is asked to call DC Steve Dawkins at Basildon CID on 101 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
