FUNDRAISERS braved the rain for a walk in aid of two hospices.
The first Havens Hospices’ Woodland Walk took place on Sunday and walkers refused to let the downpour dampen their spirits.
Families walked 1.5km through the woodlands at Little Havens Hospice, off Daws Heath Road, Thundersley, and met a host of woodland characters along the way.
Children also enjoyed a host of activities including tractor rides, face painting and a toy sale.
Those taking part were raising money for the charity which cares for adults and children with serious conditions at their hospices, Fair Havens and Little Havens.
