Crash blocks A127
THE A127 was blocked following a crash involving two vehicles.
The accident is blocked the carriageway just before Pipps Hill Road, Basildon on the A127 Londonbound.
Traffic is queuing back to A132 Nevendon following the crash which took place just after 10.30am.
An ambulance is at the scene treating a male patient following reports a car had hit a barrier.
It's unknown how serious the man's condition is.
Emergency services reopened the carriageway at 11.20am, but motorists continue to face delays.
