WHEN the news about the departure of aOne Direction member broke out back in March, a thousand teenage girls were heartbroken about not seeing the five of them together again.

But never mind, because all five of the next best thing - Only One Direction – are heading to the Cliffs Pavilion, Southend.

It follows the tribute boy band’s sell out tour last year and is said to, “capture the charisma, energy and enthusiasm of the famous five”.

The show features songs from all four of One Direction’s smash hit albums, including What Makes You Beautiful, Story of My Life, Best Song Ever, Midnight Memories, Steal My Girl and more.

This family-friendly pop concert is complete with giveaways, audience participation and a meet and greet with the boys.

Only One Direction formed in early 2012 as the first One Direction tribute band in the world.

The band immediately attracted a lot of interest and were soon performing up to seven shows a week.

In just under three years O1D have performed to over a quarter of amillion people and firmly established themselves as the best One Direction tribute around.

Described as a “super tribute” band – with real One Direction member Harry Styles even reportedly praising their vocal performance – their shows are suitable for all ages and cover audiences from a few hundred to tens of thousands.

Only One Direction will be on stage at the theatre in Sation Road, Westcliff, on Monday, August 31 at 3pm.
