FIREFIGHTERS in Southend tackled a house blaze in a terraced street this morning.
Two crews from Southend station attended the fire in Fowler Close after being called at 9.06am.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to tackle the blaze in the top floor of the house.
Crews reported the top floor of the house was 100 per cent smoke logged upon arrival, with one of the rooms being almost 100 per cent devastated by fire.
The blaze was brought under control within around twenty minutes and the firefighters left shortly after 10am.
No-one is thought to have been injured in the fire as the property's residents were outside when fire crews arrived.
