Burst water main causing traffic chaos
A BURST water main is causing delays for motorists in Basildon.
The main has burst at the junction of Cranes Farm Road and East Mayne, leaving the roads flooded.
Pumps are currently on site trying to clear the water.
Oliver Rogers, spokesman for Essex and Suffolk Water, said: "We are still investigating what the cause of the problem is.
"We have got our crew on site so we are responding very speedily and hope to get it fixed soon."
