AWestcliff textiles designer has been selected to show in the UK’s first Indo-British Fair in London’s Oxford Street.

It’s a fashion and culture event which “brings together designs representing everything Asian, Indian, and British”.

The city’s premier shopping location is hosting the innovative three-day fusion of east meets west fashion, crafts, food, folk and culture, with 55 designers from across the UK being chosen to display a mix of textiles, fashion, jewellery, art and handicrafts.

Patrick, who runs the label Paisley Power, was chosen to be involved in the fair because of his fascination of the construction and shapes involved in traditional Indian paisley.

The event takes place from Monday, September 21, until Wednesday, September 23.

Patrick said: “The organisers of the fair spotted my designs online and decided they were perfect for their fair so they invited me specially.”
