GET your pooches ready for the summer dog show at Battlesbridge Mills Garden Centre tomorrow.

The day will also tie in with the launch of the new dog training centre and there’s plenty going on for dog lovers.

The event was one of the most popular shows last year with a huge turnout.

At 11am there will be puppy games – take along your pup to meet some other pups, play some confidence building games and learn some important skills for life.

An “Ask the trainers” slot, where dog owners can get some hints and tips on how to improve their dog’s obedience, is at 11.30am.

At noon there will be chance to take part in the “have a go agility” a mini course for you and your dog to have a go at.

From 12.45pm it’s time for some fun with the dog show.

Entry costs £2 per class.

Categories include: ! Best puppy (six to 12 months) ! Most handsome dog (one year plus) ! Prettiest bitch (one year plus) ! Waggiest tail (any age, dog and bitch) ! Most beautiful eyes (any age, dog and bitch) ! Best junior handler (six to 16 years of age) ! Best in show (winners of all of the above) The event is free and runs from 11am.
