A MAN who was wanted by police for questioning in connection with shoplifting has been found.
Police are no longer looking for Paul Whiting who was wanted for questioning in connection with a number of incidents of shoplifting in Westcliff.
He was arrested on Friday September 4 and taken to Basildon Police Station for questioning.
Whiting, aged 40, of Northview Drive, in Westcliff, was subsequently charged with ten counts of theft from shops and remanded in custody to appear before Chelmsford Magistrates Court today.
He was also detained for failing to attend court.
