TOMORROW is a special date in the Annie’s Jazz Club weekly calender, because two legends of the Latin world – Ramon Farran and Robin Jones –will arrive.

They will give the audience a night of percussion-led music and share their fascinating tales of life in the jazz world spanning several continents.

Percussionist, composer and conductor Farran flies in from Madrid especially for the gig at the club held at the Thorpe Bay Golf Club, in Thorpe Hall Avenue.

Farran is a drummer, composer, arranger, producer and conductor, He has been a jazz musician for 60 years’ and is one of the founders of the jazz movement in Spain.

Meanwhile King of Salsa Robin Jones who also leads the Robin Jones Latin Jazz Sextet, will be returning to the club for the second time this year.

They will be joined by by Chris Kibble on piano, Marc Cecil on drums and timbales, Paul Jayasinha on trumpet, Nick Kacal on bass, Mick Foster on sax, John Turville on piano and Natalia Farran on vocals.

A very special guest – Snowboy – real name Mark Cotgrove, will be hosting the evening.
