Six miles of queues at the Dartford Crossing after crash
DRIVERS were stuck in six miles of tailbacks this morning after a crash at the Dartford Crossing.
The accident happened at the M25 clockwise at the QE2 bridge and caused traffic problems back to the A127 junction for Romford.
One of the Dartford Tunnels was blocked for an hour, until 07.15am, with an accident at the tunnel exit opposite the foot of the QE2 Bridge. Queues almost to J29.
The Kent side of the crossing was also blocked after the crash between two cars and a lorry.
Queues on the anticlockwise M25 were almost back to Junction 4 for Orpington.
The problems are now cleared and traffic is beginning to move again.
