X Factor star Louisa Johnson took time off from her gruelling X Factor schedule for a kick around with her West Ham football idols this morning.

In a piece filmed for the show this Saturday, Louisa Johnson got to play a bit of footie with her favourite team.

The young star, who is still tipped as the bookies’ favourite to win the X Factor 2015, re-tweeted a picture of herself with one of the team’s defenders, James Tomkins.

Louisa tweeted from @Louisa: “Had so much fun. Good to meet you and good luck for the weekend! X”

James Tomkins wrote from @TomkinsOfficial: “Nice to meet @louisa and her family today. Good luck in the @TheXFactor #teamlouisa #COYI.”

The Gazette spoke to the fan’s mum, Lisa Hawkyard about what it would have meant to the young star to meet her idols.

Lisa, 46, of Chafford Hundred, said: “She’s always been a West Ham supporter so to meet them today would have meant a lot.”

“Her brother says she doesn’t have any one favourite player, but they’ve all been brought up in West Ham and so they’re all avid West Ham fans, through and through.

“Louisa’s Dad, Dave Johnson, is a huge fan, and they used to go to matches together.

“She normally supports them and now they are supporting her.”

Louisa later re-tweeted a picture of herself with the whole West Ham team, including star players Adrian San Miguel, Mark Noble and Andy Carroll.

Louisa Johnson will be performing in the semi-finals this Saturday, with only four weeks left till the nail-biting finale.
