A HUGE trampolining park is opening in Rayleigh.

Base Jump in Brook Road, Rayleigh, will be the largest trampolining park in the south east and opens in February.

Boasting more than 35,000 square feet of fun, there will be space for 175 people and will play host to the UK’s first trampoline half pipe.

Jason Hall, Base Jump director, said: “After months of scouring for the perfect venue, we finally found it, a 35,000 square foot site in Rayleigh.

“Since then the Base Jump team have been working hard to provide a park that will give our customers the ultimate experience by introducing the newest park trends, some the first in the UK, in a visually stimulating environment.

“Essentially, taking trampoline parks to the next level.”

BASE JUMP - HOW THE FINISHED PARK WILL BE LAID OUT

Jumpers will get the chance to try out the unique half pipe, the ‘Ninja Warrior’ course, throw themselves off two metre base jump platforms into an air bag or foam pit, or try out the main jump zone with more than 75 interlinked trampolines.

Base Jump will also have a slam dunk lane for basketball acrobatics enthusiasts, three dodge ball courts and a battle beam, where participants battle it out to knock their opponent off into a foam pit.

The action will be set to a backdrop of a huge screen, projecting live action captured within the park, and a giant graffiti wall commissioned from the Paint Freaks.

He said: “I can’t wait for the opening of Base Jump Trampoline Park.

“I’ve seen the plans and it looks sick.”

The park will be suitable for everyone from five upwards and will put on supervised teen and young adult party nights with a resident DJ on Friday and Saturday nights.

In addition to the parties will be trampoline exercise classes, including boxercise featuring retractable punch bags.
