A RAYLEIGH secondary school has spent the week preforming West End hit Joseph with the help of the town’s primary schools.
FitzWimarc School, of Hockley Road, Rayleigh, have been performing the Andrew Lloyd Webber Musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat to friends and family this week.
Numerous primary schools have been collaborating with the school and have provided students to help complete the show.
The Primary schools that took part included Edward Francis, Grove Wood and Down Hall school, all in Rayleigh.
A different primary school performed each night, alongside the cast.
Musical Director Paul Norman said:"The Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat performances this week really have been an amazing experience for all involved.
"A great deal of hard work has gone into our production which is a spectacular showcase for all the talent at FitzWimarc.
“Our Music, Drama and Dance departments started auditions way back in October, and rehearsals have been taking place ever since.
" All aspects of the show have involved students throughout years 7 to 11 and also included local primary students, and this really enhanced the performances.
“It has been incredibly enjoyable to see the cast grow in their roles throughout this time and the end product, our fabulous production, really shows all the hard work they have put into it.”
