A MOUTHWATERING Easter menu has been designed especially for this Sunday at top vegan and vegetarian pub, the Railway Hotel, in Southend.
The venue - which recently won an award for being ranked among the top ten vegan pubs in the whole of the UK by PETA - is including seven choices of main course, and four choices of dessert, with a delicious carrot and coriander soup option for a starter.
The mains include vegan ham, cheese and leek pie, creamy mushroom gnocchi, Thai green tofu curry and of course the pub's popular crass burger, while desserts include pear and apricot cheesecake and chocolate and mixed nut calzone.
Prices are as usual superb, with starters and desserts at £4 and mains at £8.
Landlord at the pub in Clifftown Road, Dave Dulake, said: "Feel free to walk up on the day but please be aware of a bit of a wait between 1pm and 4pm. There'll be some ivory tinkling at around 2pm and then a set or two from the fab Mo Fingers at 5pm."
