POLICE are appealing for anyone who saw a man breaking into a car to come forward.
The incident happened at about 5.20am on Sunday, July 17, in The Leas, Westcliff.
A black BMW was broken in to after the driver’s side window was smashed. It is not known if anything was taken from the vehicle.
A man was seen who is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, aged about 30 and wearing a red hooded top with the word Henleys written on it in white. He also wore dark trousers.
This man was seen to leave along the seafront and walk past the Oyster Creek Kitchen, Western Esplanade, towards the pier.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
