A BASILDON solicitors has appointed a salaried partner and an associate solicitor.

Luke Morgan is currently an associate solicitor at Palmers, having joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in 2011 and will be a salaried partner from August 1.

Since his qualification as a solicitor he has worked in the Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department.

Luke has a wealth of experience in a wide range of contentious disputes and provides legal advice in areas including contractual disputes, professional negligence claims and shareholder disputes.

Maisie Yau is currently a solicitor in the commercial property department at Palmers, having joined the firm in 2014.

Maisie’s promotion to associate solicitor will mean an expansion of the services which she provides to the construction sector.

Commenting on his appointment as a Partner, Luke said: "I am very pleased to have made Partner here at Palmers.

"I have very much enjoyed my time here and I am looking forward to making a new contribution to our success in my new role."

Maisie said: "It is wonderful to be able to continue my work here at Palmers as an Associate Solicitor.

"I’m very much looking forwarding to taking on responsibility for the development of non-contentious construction work."
