ROSSI Ice Cream staff are celebrating after scooping their largest contract to date.
Its popular flavours will be sold across the county after the firm landed a contract with convenience store giant Co Op.
Director Colin Gray said the new deal, which will see 50 Essex stores stock the ice cream, will create more jobs.
He also admitted the company, based in Lucy Road, Southend, is looking to strike up a deal with other big name stores in a bid to go national.
He said: “It’s amazing seeing the product on the shelves, up against some of the biggest names in the business.
“When this next move works out, it should lead to growth so we can create more jobs for Southend.
“There are also plans to have talks with Marks and Spencer and Waitrose - going national would be amazing.”
