A COLLEGE is increasing the number of apprenticeships it offers in line with a Government commitment to apprenticeships.

Seevic College, in Runnymede Chase, Thundersley, is launching two new level 3 apprenticeships in social media and digital marketing, and pharmacy, and one level 4 in business administration.

The college is also dedicated to increasing the skillset of the local community.

The Government’s commitment to recruiting three million new apprenticeships starts in England by 2020.

Seevic College currently holds higher success rates than the national average for apprenticeships.

It helps hundreds of young people kickstart their career, with 91 per cent of students progressing to employment or further education within six months of completing their course last year.

Apprenticeships combine hands-on training and academic study, and can be the perfect way for those aged 16 and over to get ahead in their career.

Seevic tutors also support students in building their experience during their time in college, focusing on ten vital employability skills.

The latest apprenticeship- social media and digital marketing- is designed for those looking to enter, or are already working in, the technology industry.
