POLICE have invited potential owners of suspected stolen items found during a raid to visit their station.

Officers found more than 100 items at an address off Mallards, in Shoebury, on November 28.

Items including sat navs, sunglasses and gardening equipment were recovered.

Anyone who has recently had items stolen, specifically from their vehicle, in the Southend and Shoebury area is invited to attend Southend Police Station between 10am and 3pm on Saturday December 10.

Proof of ownership and checks will be required.

Anyone who is unable to attend is asked to contact the Operation Titan team at Basildon Police Station on 101, extension numbers 380031 or 380032.

A 37-year-old man from Shoebury was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and was released on bailed until February 28, 2017 pending further enquiries.
