Police remain in town centre as part of 'ongoing' incident
RESIDENTS have reported four police cars racing to a town centre pub tonight.
The Swan Pub, in Wickford Broadway on the corner of it's junction with Swan Lane has seen officers arrive outside at around 9.30pm.
An Essex Police spokesman confirmed the incident was "ongoing" and was therefore unable to go into further detail.
There is no suggestion that the pub is involved in the incident.
Update: The scene was cleared by 11pm
