Tractor, car and lorry involved in collision in Southend
A PEDESTRIAN was hit by a lorry in Southend this morning.
The incident happened around 9.30am this morning in Bournes Green Chase, in Southend.
An ambulance spokesman said: "We were called to Bournes Green Chase at 9.36am this morning to reports of a road traffic accident involving a pedestrian and lorry.
"We sent an ambulance crew who reached the scene in under four minutes.
"We treated one man, believed to be in his 50s and he was taken to Southend Hospital."
Police were also in attendance.
