A BASILDON driving instructor has passed the highest civilian test available in the UK.
Tariq Musaji, who runs Farrah Driver Training which operates across South Essex, successfully took the Masters in Driving exam in Hertfordshire.
Run by the Institute of Advanced Motorists, the 90-minute exam includes a theory test and also a practical test, which tests those taking it on all aspects of driving, including safe overtaking, as well as improved observation.
The examiner for the Masters in Driving exam is a retired Metropolitan police traffic officer.
Mr Musaji, of Wickford, has also passed his Diploma in Driver Education.
The diploma is primarily designed for advanced driving instructors who wish to acquire higher level skills and is awarded to successful candidates by the Drivers Instructors Association.
