Police helicopter scrambled over woods to search for missing person
THE police helicopter was launched over woodlands to search for a missing person.
Residents spotted the helicopter over Norsey Woods in Billericay, in addition to officers searching on the ground at around 10.30am this morning.
The search for the person, believed to be a secondary school boy, took more than an hour and half.
An Essex Police spokesman confirmed the person was found just after 12pm.
