A WOMAN has been charged with manslaughter following the death of Vilson Meshi in Pitsea last year.
Keani Hobbs, 18, of Stagden Cross, Basildon, a student, has been charged with manslaughter, arson and theft.
Melanie Hobbs, 46, unemployed, also of Stagden Cross, Basildon, has been charged with assisting an offender. Both have been released on conditional bail until they appear at Basildon Magistrates Court on February 16.
A 15-year-old boy from South East London has also been reported for manslaughter, arson and theft and will be summonsed to appear before the youth court in due course.
The body of Vilson Meshi, aged 30, was found in the back of his grey Audi in Pincey Mead, shortly before 5pm on Saturday, February 27. There was fire damage inside his car.
