AN MP’s office manager is bidding to raise thousands of pounds for a brain tumour charity.
Sam Nahk, Senior Parliamentary Assistant and Office Manager for Rebecca Harris, Tory MP for Castle Point, is in training for next year’s London Marathon to raise funds for brain tumour research.
Inspired by his boss, who chairs the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Brain Tumours, the 27-year-old Yorkshireman aims to raise at least £3,000 for pioneering charity Brain Tumour Research.
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer but just one per cent of the national spend on cancer research.
