Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to talk to in connection with the theft of a handbag in Southend.
Officers were called to Dick De Vignes, in Warrior Square, at around 2.30am on Sunday, January 1, after the victim, aged in her 30s, reported that her black clutch bag had been taken.
She told officers that it had had fallen on the floor near to the dance floor when the suspect took it and left the building.
Inside the bag were the victim’s bank cards, a white iPhone 5S, house keys and a two figure sum of cash.
The suspect is described as a white male with dark short hair. He was wearing a dark t-shirt.
