HUNDREDS of people came from far and wide to a popular bird sale show at Rayleigh.
The Birdkeepers Association hosted the sale show at the Mill Hall in Bellingham Lane on Sunday, which attracted breeders and bird lovers alike.
More than 500 people from as far away as Cambridge, Bournemouth and Northamptonshire to sell and buy budgies, parrots, cockatiels and many more.
Association chairman Malcolm Thornton said: "We opened at 10am and the place is absolutely buzzing.
"It's always extremely popular and we have people coming from all over the country to the show.
"We attract a lot of bird breeders who have the need to reduce their stock and people who want to restock.
"Everybody seems to be enjoying themselves."
