Roadworks cause long delays in Southend
ROADWORKS are causing delays for drivers trying to get into Southend.
Roadworks on London Road and Victoria Avenue this weekend mean that delays are likely, with busses also affected.
Shortly after 1pm this afternoon, Arriva Essex tweeted: "Southend: All services heading towards Southend experiencing long delays on both London Road and Victoria Avenue, sorry.
"Southend Victoria Avenue getting busy with traffic - road works - causing delays to services on this route."
