PINK, Craig David and Busted have all been announced for this summer’s V Festival.

Having been previously rumoured for a UK return, Jay Z, the husband of Beyonce, will be headlining in what will be his first UK show since his world tour in 2013.

With more than 100 million records sold, the 2017 Songwriters Hall Of Fame inductee is one of the best-selling musicians of all time and will have more than a decade’s worth of material to choose from.

Stormzy, Jason Derulo, Sean Paul and George Ezra have also been confirmed for the latest line-up.

Among those also set to take to the stage are Jess Glynne, Clean Bandit, Dizzee Rascal, James Arthur, the Vamps, the Wombats and Scouting for Girls.

Ellie Goulding will also be bringing her electro-pop sound to the line-up with her fifth V Festival appearance.

Having sold over 14 million records worldwide, Craig David will be taking to the stage, playing a host of his smash hits, both new and old.

The artist tweeted: “V Festival – I’m coming for you this summer.”

Excited fans took to twitter minutes after the line-up was released, expressing their excitement.

Chelsea tweeted: “So tempted to go to V Festival again this year, line-ups looking even better this year.”

Kirsty Kovacs tweeted: “The V Festival line-up so far looks insane. Sad I won’t be there this year.”

Rebecca tweeted: ”I just saw that Pink is doing V Festival. I just hope this is the start of a UK tour.”

The festival will be returning to Hylands Park this summer with a packed bill.

Other notable artists include grime superstar, Stormzy, who will be returning to the V Festival stage.

The Shut Up star, who stunned crowds at the Brits last week, has also just released his hugely-anticipated debut album, Gang Signs and Prayer.

Last year saw headline performances fro Rihanna, Little Mix and David Guetta.

Although he is one of the most recognisable pop stars, Justin Bieber came under a lot of scrutiny when he performed at V Festival last year. Tens of thousands of music fans flocked to see him at the main stage but he was blasted over claims that he was miming.

V Festival will be taking place on Saturday, August 19 and Sunday, August 20 at Hylands Park in Chelmsford. Tickets go on sale from 9am on Friday and can be bought from ticketmaster.co.uk/vfestival
