Man rescued after falling ill on scaffolding 16ft high
FIRE crews helped the ambulance service rescue a man who had been taken ill while working on scaffolding.
Crews from Basildon, Chelmsford and Billericay used an aerial ladder platform to reach the man in Riverside Walk, Wickford after being called at 9.50am.
The man was rescued by 10:40am and left in the care of the ambulance service.
