POLICE are appealing for information following an assault in Basildon.
It happened 9.30pm on Thursday, March 9 after the victim, a man in his 20s, had been to the cinema in the Festival Leisure Park.
He and his girlfriend had tried to leave when they got into a verbal altercation with a group of people.
The victim was then assaulted, suffering facial injuries and a concussion.
A 17-year-old boy from Rayleigh has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and has been reported for process.
A 19-year-old man from Rayleigh has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and released on bail until Monday, May 8.
