AN unemployed man will stand trial accused of carrying out an arson attack on a mobile police station.
Dwayne Curtis, 46, of Heygate Avenue, Southend, appeared at Basildon Crown Court in relation to an incident in York Road, Southend, on October 30.
The mobile police station had been parked in the street just days after a double stabbing in a bid to reassure worried residents.
No officers were inside the vehicle when the blaze was started.
Curtis denied a single charge of arson and will stand trial at Basildon Crown Court on July 3.
