A HOSPICE has thanked residents for donating Easter eggs, which staff gave to patients and their families at the weekend.
St Luke’s Hospice, in Nethermayne, Basildon, praised young Chelsie Emanuel - whose family donated the huge haul of chocolate eggs.
The charity’s OneResponse and Hospice at Home team delivered the eggs to patients around the borough over the Easter weekend. A spokesman said: “We would like to say a huge thank you and we hope everyone had a happy Easter.”
