A BASILDON man has been fined £110 for failing to show a £3.50 train ticket to an inspector.
Jack Huzzey, 18, of Ghyllgrove Close, Basildon, did not hand over a ticket when asked to do so while on a train travelling between Chalkwell and Laindon on November 23 last year.
The offence was proved in his absence.
As well as the fine, magistrates ordered him to pay £3.50 compensation, a £30 victim surcharge and £65 court costs.
