STUDENTS have been hard at work learning important skills to set them up for their future careers.

Seevic College students have been assisting with the construction of a new pergola at the college, in Runnymede Chase, Thundersley.

During the project, they have learnt employability skills such as organisation, planning and construction.

The wooden pergola, a wooden shelter often found in gardens, will give the college somewhere to host barbecues and will provide extra cover for staff and students trying to escape the rain. Seevic Colleges offers a range of courses, including accounting, engineering, performing arts and childcare.
